This is a small IllustStudio tutorial.
When I have to use a bright color, it’s hard to know whether you filled up all the little spots that may remain uncolored (this is problematic when you add shadow, or if you add a background later). To make sure I see everything properly, I use Quick Mask.
Open the Select menu and choose to start Quick Mask, then you can draw and fill in that red color you see in the pic. After you’re done painting the zones where the bright color is going to be, click on the Select menu again and then on erase Quick Mask. Everything you painted red while Quick Mask was activated will turn into a selection now. Just fill the selection with the color you want and that’s it.
